Captain Zodiac offers tours of Kauai's scenic Na Pali coastline on a 24-foot Zodiac raft. Along the route there are several opportunities for picture taking as guests marvel at the breathtaking beauty of the island. Captain Zodiac tour guides share Hawaiian tales and local history. The tour is about 6 hours long and includes lunch, as well as time for snorkeling or hiking at the site of the remnants of a Hawaiian Fishing village.

The extensive helicopter tour covers all the major waterfalls on the island, including the Hanapepe Valley where the Manawaipuna Waterfalls (filmed in Jurassic Park) are located, as well as the Olokele Canyon (owned by the Robinson Family).

The Waimea Canyon is called the "Grand Canyon of Hawaii," and stretches 10 miles from Captain Cook's landing site to Kokee State Park. Hiking trails in the park offer unparalleled views of the canyon and Kauai's rare upland forest environment. The canyon itself is also accessible for hiking, fishing, and camping. Guests can also view Waimea Canyon by driving up Waimea Canyon Drive (Highway 550)--a 19-mile, one-way excursion that begins in Waimea or Kekaha.

The Kauai Museum is a privately owned non-profit museum dedicated to the preservation of the culture of Kauai. The museum features various galleries documenting and displaying Kauai's rich cultural heritage, as well as other Hawaiian cultures. The museum also features work by local artists.

Kokee Natural History Museum

The Kokee Museum is the only museum in Hawaii that is open every day of the year. The staff greets over 100,000 visitors annually, offering interpretive programs about Kauai's ecology, geology, and climate. The museum also provides basic information on trail conditions in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Parks, as well as maps, hiking guides, and books on Hawaiian history. This is a good place to visit before exploring Kauai's vast natural landscape.

Hanalei Bay/ Hanalei Beach Park

Kauai's north shore presents one of the island's most scenic tropical beach views, Hanalei Bay. The Hanalei Beach is a great spot for walking, swimming, sunning, or just throwing a Frisbee around. Here guests will find calm shorelines and quiet waters.

Lygate Park

The Coconut Coast lines the eastern shores of Kauai on either side of the Wailua River. Some of the most popular beaches on the island are here. Lygate Park is especially popular for beginning snorkelers and for children, both of whom can swim safely in the mild waters or play in a wooden playground.
